Dubuque
My Hometown, My Future
PMG's
latest video production is the official recruiting
peice for area employers. Contracted by the
Great Dubuque Development Corporation, the peice
was written, shot and edited by Bryce Parks.
Additional footage was provided by other videographers.
The finished production met with rave reviews
and is currently being distributed to prospective
new residents across the country. |

Highway
32 - The Southwest Arterial
The
Greater Dubuque Development Corporation once
again looked to PMG to create a DVD compliment
to the presentation materials they were preparing
for the Iowa Department of Transportation to
illustrate the need for extending the Southwest
Arterial in Dubuque. The popularity of the DVD,
which was originally intended for an audience
of about ten has created a need for fifty or
more additional copies to be requested. Hopefully,
it's clarity of message will be successful
in securing the funding needed to complete this
important piece of infrastructure for Dubuque. |

Baseball
In Dubuque
Our
latest impossible deadline is the promotional
centerpiece for informing the public
about the potential for professional
baseball to return to Dubuque. Shot and
edited
in under four days in order to present
it to the Dubuque City Council, the success
of the video is already evident in the
community and feedback has been glowing.
We hope the tremendous buzz turns into
a
resounding
"yes" vote
on December
16th! We also put together the "Vote
Yes" web site in a single weekend. See
it here. |

America's
River
This
documentary was produced for the partners
behind the America's River Project, including
the City of Dubuque, the Dubuque Chamber
of Commerce, The Greater Dubuque Development
Corporation, and of course, the Mississippi
River Museum. This completely unscripted
program was conceived, shot and edited
in under two weeks, including a 60+ hour
sleepless editing session, to hit the
tightest deadline we've ever faced. It
turned out to play an integral part
in
Dubuque securing a 30 million dollar
grant from the State of Iowa's Vision
Iowa fund.
It was produced at no charge as a donation
to the America's River effort. Yeah,
you
might say we're proud of this one. |

Medical
Associates
A
pre-application video for prospective
new employees to Medical Associates.
Working with their talented marketing
team, PMG produced a digital video presentation
around a script created by the Medical
Associates staff. |

River
Valley Initiative
Produced for the Greater
Dubuque Development Corporation (GDDC),
this DVD and video was a marketing piece
directed at business leaders in the Dubuque
area designed to generate support for
a new economic development initiative
spearheaded by the GDDC. Scripted around
raw interview material from area business
leaders, the program needed to drive
home
a clear message in as short a time period
as possible. The video was a key tool
in the hugely successful capital fund
drive, raising more than the 2 million
dollar goal set for the program. |

Dubuque's
20th Century
A support piece for the
wildly popular Dubuque's 20th Century
Art Print ( a PMG venture) which itself
was a promotional tool for the 1999-2000
Dubuque Millennium Ball (also a PMG venture),
this documentary follows the making of
the retrospective collage art print celebrating
100 years of life in Dubuque. The video
capsulates not only the creative process
from design to printing, it also visits
with the artist and the colorful Dubuque
area collectors and well-known personalities
who provided much of the material utilized
in the print. It was the most successful
print (and calendar) ever for popular
Dubuque Artist Gary Olsen. The video
was
a centerpiece at the Millennium Ball
(New Year's) celebration at the Dubuque
Five
Flags Civic Center. Running over an hour
in length, we apologize that we are not
able to publish it here. |

Graham's
Style Store For Men TV Ad.
Taking to our guitars and
sequencers, we took a memorable old jingle
and rocked it out just in time for the
holidays. We also gave a hip and modern
facelift to one of Dubuque's venerable
downtown retail landmarks, Graham's Style
Store for Men. A series of 30 second spots
ran during the holiday season and local
cable television. |

Our
Only Wedding Video Ever!
We
still get comments on this video
even
after a couple of years have passed.
We figured why should a wedding video
be long and boring, so we kicked it
in gear and made it look like just
as much fun and as emotional an experience
as it was without running it two
hours.
They keep trying to refer business
to us but the fact is, we can handle
the pressure of a corporate video
deadline, but we're deathly afraid
of the potential
fury of a scorned bride if we even
missed getting "The Kiss"
on camera. Only a couple willing to
make their wedding video an investment
rather than an afterthought will get
us into a church.
